The Fast and the Furious 4

"I live my life a quarter mile at a time. Nothing else matters: not the mortgage, not the store, not my team and all their bullshit. For those ten seconds or less, I'm free."

So yea, The Fast and the Furious part 1 was pretty sweet imo because of Vin Diesel. it wasn't picture of the year or anything but I did enjoy it. Parts 2 and 3 were pretty bad tho. BUT...the original cast is now BACK!!! Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michele Rodreiguez, and the beautiful Jordana Brewster.

Here is the trailer:
(Good Quality)
ROTTEN TOMATOES: Fast & Furious Video

(Crappy Quality)

I thought 3 was at least as good as the original, even though I hate the concept of drifting. It was like half a sequel to FatF and half a sequel to Better Luck Tomorrow. The second one was complete shit though.

This one I'm definitely looking forward to. Justin Lin is directing again, and it's a prequel to Tokyo Drift. As cheesy as the series is, I have to give them credit for focusing only on cars that are/were worth modifying (read: cars that don't say Honda on them) and for always having a classic muscle car that puts everything else to shame.

Having said that, whoever was responsible for destroying that Buick Grand National should have been dragged down the highway behind it instead.

I liked the first one, it was filmed where we used to do a lot of street racing. We actually watched a lot of the racing being filmed. My friend was going to try and get his trans am in it as they were filming a bunch of races for footage that never made it in, but they told him he had to let the Japanese car win, lol he said fuck no.

mmm Michelle Rodriguez...

I thought 1 was the best out of all of them. It wasn't a good movie by any stretch, but the following two made it look oscar-worthy by comparison... Hopefully this one will be worth seeing at least.

When I first saw the plot summary I thought there was some serious continuity errors, but upon further reading there's a few details that actually make more sense out of the series. The new movie will be second in the timeline for the series, and will show Dominic's relationship with Han (Tokyo Drift) along with how Brian bounced out of law enforcement (2 Fast 2 Furious)

So Fast and the Furious is a sequel to The Fast and the Furious, but a prequel to 2 Fast 2 Furious and Tokyo Drift.

I'm a sucker for Fast and the Furious movies, I enjoyed them all. I do have to say I probably watched Tokyo Drift a few more times than I should have and will most likely enjoy this one also.

They are fun popcorn films. That is all. I enjoyed all of them for different reasons.

Yes, they require a heavy suspension of disbelief, especially in regards to the cars. So what? They aren't aiming for an Oscar. Eat a dick, Phoenix.

The third one was surprisingly decent. On top of that, the message of the film was one of cosmopolitism (the winning car is made by mixing together a japanese and an american car).

I watched tokyo drift for hot asian chicks :-)

This looks good, all the films have been enjoyable thus far- as stated nothing like omg picture of the year but fun-

best part about 2fast was when they had all the modded ricer moblies storm out to confuse the cops- like one of the last cars in the back it a silver? pt cruiser whos awsome mods are blinky lights...its like "Thats the best-boy grips sons car who wanted to be in the movie" lol

The first one is a cult classic among car enthusiastists.

"I got this part overnighted from Tokyo." The floorpan falling off when he uses nitrous. Etc.

The second one was a steaming pile of shit.

I really liked the third one. The character of Han was very cool, and I'm glad to see he'll be in this one.

The series also gets props for doing all the stunts with real cars. The only CGI used was the cars jumping the draw bridge in the second one.

Saw the trailer at Death Race, and was extremely excited for about 10-15 seconds before I realized it was not, in fact, a new Mad Max movie. All their talk about stealing petrol really had me going!

The tractor trailers are light, so dey be driftin. DOMINICAN DRIFT.

Are they seriously stealing gas in some fucking third world country? This is a great instance of art immitating life, as Vin Diesel sinks almost as low as his on-screen character.
