Decided to watch this and pretty much got what I was expecting a entertaining but still quite predictable disaster movie. This pretty much falls into the same category as The Sentinel as a decent movie to watch if you just want some entertainment.

If you just want some entertainment where you don't have to think and just want to sit back and watch it go then go with Poseidon but if you want entertainment with some thinking involved go with The Sentinel.

Watched the original with Gene being the priest or some. Never thought it was that great, just decent. I usually avoid disaster movies, especially on ships.

wow that movie was boring. After 10 minutes, all I was looking forward to, was for the "movie" to be over.

The original was better than the remake. The characters on this newer one were just too shady, and they just felt a bit off. I am a Kurt Russell fan though; which is pretty much why I went to see this film. /Shrug, nothing great but decent.
