Eli Roth also did Cabin Fever, which is probably one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. I'm looking forward to this.

I read somewhere that this was the sequel to Cabin Fever. Not sure if thats true however.

Same writer/director, but other than that it has nothing to do with Cabin Fever. People who liked Cabin Fever and go to see Hostel are going to be in for one hell of a surprise (unless they also like extremely violent, twisted, and sadistic stuff too).

Uh, wasnt cabin fever about a bunch of kids who get attacked by a flesh eating disease? If so, that movie wasnt funny....or good for that matter

hahah ya go read their "true life stories". Inspired by true events....about as inspired as Texas Chainsaw Massacre was by the "true story".

The inspired by true events is a bit misleading. The cabin fever guy 'came across' a foreign website where you could pay $10,000 or so to torture whoever you wanted. Cabin fever guy calls up QT and pitches the idea. Whether or not the website was real or not is not confirmed.
