| Everything is Illuminated Everything is illuminated. Watched this last night. It had a few REALLY funny moments and one pause the DVD and rewind it because I was laughing too hard moment. It's also a bit of a chick flick, but it still manages to be pretty cool. If you watch it, beware the special features. The deleted scenes were just... bad... disturbingly bad. I'm very glad they were deleted. Sammy Davis Jr. Jr. wins at being a deranged dog.

It vaguely reminded me of Lost in Translation in that it took place in a strange country I'd never seen before, took a very realistic view of that country (showed actual buildings & rodes) and alternated between being touching and funny.

| i've tried to watch this twice and fell asleep both times. i seem really interested at first and enjoy the relationships between all the characters, but i seem to get sleepy while watching it. kinda like the station agent, i'm enjoying the movie as i watch it, but something about it loses me. yea, the seeing eye bitch is pretty funny ![]()
