Scary Movie 4

So I wasted my time in watching this film and I wasnt let down. Movie had slapstick and one liners galore. I would give it two thumbs up as a parody film. If you liked Scary Movie 3, this is better with even more jokes, and from the same directory David Zucker (Airplane, Naked Gun,etc). Worth the see, fun for the whole family.

The first two aren't even comparable to these movies. I've watched three at least 50 times since it released.

I enjoyed #3 alot but found the first 2 only adequate.

I thought the first two were average at best. Really enjoyed the third one. Went to see the fourth one on friday and thought it was a huge letdown.

first movie i lol'd throughout, second was ok, third was just stupid... now having trouble deciding if i should waste money on the 4th. anyone who really enjoyed the first liked the 4th?

Starting with #3, there was a completely different creative team behind the series.

Of the series, I only own the 1st on DVD. I saw 3 but didnt pay much attention, I think I was playing EQ while i had it on at the time. But I did see 4 in theatres last Friday, and perhaps because I was drunk, but I really had alot of good laughs at the movie even though I didn't see Saw, The Village, and War of the Worlds --the main movies it parodied. The jokes were pretty rapid-fire, so it's worth seeing once.

Considering what else is in theatres, if you haven't seen Thank You for Smoking, definitely check Smoking out first--it is a truly great comedy worth seeing/owning, whereas Scary Movie is more like a movie that is funny once.

Do not go see this it is one of the worst movies ever made.

Sooo bad. I walked out about an hour into it. I saw maybe 15 other people walk out as well. How many times do they have to show a person getting hit in the head by something? I lost count after the first 5 minutes of the movie.

The jokes were so bad. There was no thought put into them at all. I think I laughed twice, which is not even worth mentioning since they feed you a joke every 20 seconds. God damnit, what a waste of money.

The first Scary Movie is the only one worth watching.

I'm a part three kinda guy, so I liked part 4. I'm also a big airplane fan so I guess I like that kind of humor.

The subtitled part cracked me up. me and my friends were the only people in the theatre laughing at it. it was kind of creepy. We got plenty of confused looks from nearby red-necks and g-thug wanna-be's.
