House of the Dead; I'm not sure why I ever saw that piece of shit in the first place, but I want my dollar back.

People saying Kill Bill 1&2? Wtf? Seriously. I fucking hated Reservoir Dogs, but I won't list it on this list. It wasn't "the w0rst movie evar!11," but I didn't care for it at all. I'm amazed at how many people love it. /shrug. Not enough for me to drop "the worst ever" title on it.

Labyrinth? Come on. Labyrinth was some cool shit for its time, and is still a good movie all around. What are you people on?

LotR haters? You do know that those movies are based off books right (written what, 50-60 years ago?)? To get the basic idea of the books, your movie must encompass enough, hence the length of those movies. Going up and banging on the doors of Mordor was an attempt to help Frodo make it across the land unharmed. I've never read the books, but I've heard the movies are very faithful to them, so I seriously doubt anything was added just to make the movie longer. As for Tolkien's obsession with Hobbits/Halflings? /shrug, who knows. Maybe he just liked rooting for the underdog so to speak.

The movie I personally felt was the worst I'd ever seen? Joe Vs. the Volcano. If someone liked that one (somehow :P), I apologize.
Know what’s strange? Every single chick I have ever met that has seen Momento absolutely hates it, I’ve never met a single one that even remotely thought it was good. But almost every guy I know loves it.

Just like I don't fault people for not liking Citizen Kane. I watched it and thought it was ok, but I didn't realize the masterpiece of the movie until I listened to Roger Ebert's commentary and read up on the whole project. The amount of cinematic techniques and styles that were practically invented by that movie, that are common now, is astounding. I easily list it in my top 10 now and understand why it has won AFI's best picture award for so many years.
Exactly. You watch it today and it comes across as kinda 'meh', but it comes across as such because we are watching it out of context. As you pointed out, a shitload of modern film techniques and camera shots were invented with that, thus why alot of lists have it as best.

IMO I usually agree with the lists that put Seven Samurai as the #1 (another film with alot of impact), but the impact of Kane is undeniable.

Highlander 2 can't be the worst movie ever.

Brown Bunny - Total pile of shit. Just fast forward to the dick sucking scene at the end to save yourself the torture of sitting through this garbage. That scene ruled, though.

I Spit On Your Grave - This is a bad, bad movie but I thought it was really funny. Multiple gang rapes are cool.

I still can't believe you tards are arguing about movies like LOTR and Memento when you consider the shit-cakes there are out there... I KNOW that at least one of you have flipped through the channels at three-thirty and seen something along the lines of Mac & Me... for fuck's sake people you're talking about mainstream well-funded movies for the most part... Do you know how many fucking shitty Chuck Norris movies there are out there?? The movies on Mystery Science Theatre 3000... I mean damn people those are the suicide-inducing flicks... I can hate on Windtalkers and Highlander 2 as much as the next man, but shit, it gets so, so much worse.

There's a difference between hating a specific movie for whatever reason and picking out the hands-down WORST movies ever. It might be painful to watch Windtalkers... but you have absolutely NOTHING to complain about when you've seen Nukie. I mean it's so bad that even laughing at its shittyness wears off after about an hour.. or even 8 minutes. Try it out people, you can download it off cinemanow.com if you don't believe me.. It's like $2 for the streamed movie, that is, if you've got the rocks for it.

And by rocks, I mean crack rocks.

It is easy to pick a TV movie or a D Rate movie but it is no fun. Best to stick with naming well known movies.

You fucking kidding me? Team America was a hilarious movie.

Street Fighter, D&D are shitty movies.

Everyone should see Troll 2 at least once before they die. I literally beat my head against the wall when the kid pulled out the "DOUBLE DECKER BALOGNA SANDWICH!!!".

Pics:

Best part about Troll 2, THERE ISN'T A SINGLE FUCKING TROLL OR EVEN MENTION OF TROLLS IN THE ENTIRE FUCKING MOVIE!!!

THEY'RE FUCKING GOBLINS!!!

Fuck you man, that movie is all kinds of awesome. Seriously, if you have not seen Pooty Tang, you must go see it now. It's a "bad" movie in a lot of ways, but holy shit is it ever funny as well.

I'd have to say that Master and Commander was a pretty awful movie, in some respects. The special effects, acting, attention to detail and so on were spectacular. However, it never should have gotten past the script. How anyone is supposed to watch that and feel anything but disgust for Crowe's character (and that of all the officers on the ship, basically, wining and dining on the finest while the crew and slaves toiled away on gruel) is beyond me. It might have worked 50 years ago, but in today's world it's difficult to have any pathos with an asshole aristocrat who gets half his crew killed to re-inflate his damaged ego chasing a ship that he's got no business fighting. It was just bizarre to me that the movie went out of it's way to show the class system in place on the ship, with the one crewman getting flogged for pushing past an officer. What was the fucking point? Other than to make the viewer further hate Crowe?

And don't get me started on the whole Doctor in the Gallapagos bullshit subplot. What the hell was that about?
