| Rob Zombie movies. Daredevil. Catwoman. Elektra. Signs. Doom (holy shit did this movie suck so much) Ocean's Twelve and Chronicles of Narnia weren't 'bad' movies persay but huge disappointments in my book. Fuck Disney. |

| Um. "Andy Warhol «Empire» The Empire State Building filmed for 8 consecutive hours from dusk till dawn of the following day, shot on the night of the 25th of June 1964 from the 44th floor of the Time Life Building. «Empire» is an object-trouvé, a ready-made that prefigured today’s webcam images. It can also be considered a ‹structural film›: the obsessive repetition of the same image triggers our focus on the act of looking, on the value of the frame and most of all on the film duration. Time of reality and time of cinema are the same." That or Gigli. |

+10 Internets | Naming stuff like Hands of Fire and Leprechaun is the easy way out. Windtalkers was *supposed* to be good, and deep, and powerful and all that shit. It was a fucking turd thrown up there on screen instead. Horrible acting, hackneyed storytelling, wretched effects(you can SEE the little explosive packs on the ground where mortars/bombs are supposed to be hitting, and at one point a guys rubber gun is flopping around like a fucking slinky). I can't really think of another movie that aimed so high and fell so short. And I'm trying really hard. Windtalkers ellicits a physical reaction akin to seeing a loved one hit by a car. Anger, sadness, possibly vomiting....

+13 Internets | Pearl Habour has to be up there, or any Michael Bay movie for that matter. Would probably have to say Solaris though. One of the most painful movie experiences I've had. |

| Rename thread, "Worst movie ever made, by your tastes". Frankly this thread is beyond pointless. Hey guyz list all the moves you didn't like, it'll be fun. God damnit, unless a movie is universially regarded as a piece of shit, it does not qualify as "single worst movie ever shat out by humanity". |

Anyways, Lots of "good" choices in this thread so far. I think Ultraviolet needs a nod. Alone in the Dark as well. I thought Thin Red Line was shit, too. Why are good (modern) WW2 Pacific movies such a hard thing to make? I mean, look at the track record: You have Pearl Harbor, Windtalkers, Thin Red Line, and the Great Raid. The Pacific war was the most bloody, fucked up campaign of the war with tons of stories about hardship, arrogance (in the case of the Japanese), risk, cruelty, and tragedy. Although I think thats part of the reason you won't see that many movies. Like for instance, I would be completely shocked if they ever made a non-watered down movie detailing the Rape of Nanking.

Right. Some guy mentioned Solaris. I though it was a good movie. A fuckton more think it's a good movie. Someone mentioned Doom, and The Thin Red Line - the former which is regarded as a passable entertainment flick by the majority, not worth the thread title, and the latter was rated "great" by another fuckton of people. | |

I liked A.I alot but find people's problems with the film to be totally justified even though they do not hold true for me. I fucking absolutely haded 2001 A Spacy Odyssey and Citizen Kane and I know I am wrong. Wrong wrong wrong. I still hate them.
