| Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang Not sure if there's another thread. If it is, I apologize for not seeing it. Anyways. That movie's been a blast. The story had a few big loops, but I guess that's secondary anyways. Lots of laughs, action, tits, some fine hollywood parody and a brilliant Gay Val Kilmer. Go see this movie! |

| yea the director/writer of this movie is the guy who wrote all the Lethal Weapons, so if you're like me and enjoyed the LW franchise for better or worse, you'll prob get a kick out of this movie. i might check it out if i can convince anyone to see it with me when it goes to wide release in november |

| Kind off a little spoiler below . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Yeah, the director Shane Black did indeed write the scripts for Lethal Weapon, Last Boy Scout and a few others like that and it shows in a few scenes.. especially the showdown. But being a movie narrated from the perspective of the protagonist (Robert Downey Jr.) who is not above stopping the "movie" in his tracks, rewinding or making comments and cheap shots about LoTR, Collin Farell, etc.. from the off, combined with the fact that the (sadly somewhat convoluted) story plays in the Hollywood of bad serials and third-tier starlets gives the flick a somewhat different twist than just being another Lethal Weapon/Last Boy Scout rehash. Well, and Val Kilmer is the new benchmark for ultimate gayness (man I really love that guy). Damn, I think I've already said that. Last edited by Castigator : 10-26-2005 at 12:36 AM. |

+25 Internets | Because that quote was linked in the IRC and we were trying to figure out what it meant. Val Kilmer is ultimate homo, and you love him because of it? Val Kilmer plays an awesome homo, and you admire his acting ability? The statement left me, at least, confused. |
