Your secret movie shame?

Got this idea from an article in Empire a few years back.

If you consider yourself a film buff, what movie, or movies, that are considered essential viewing, have you not seen yet, refused to see or otherwise, and why?

And the important part, after you have made your post, go see it, and edit your post about what you thought.

I'll start off:

I have not seen any Woody Allen movie, ever. My impression of the guy is just... bleh. Boring and unfunny comes to mind. Might be unfounded, but let's see.

Watch "What's Up Tigerlily?" and you'd be 100% correct.

I cannot sit through Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. I don't know what's wrong with me but I hate that film.

There's nothing wrong with you. CTHD is like wuxia for dummies.

I've never watched Gone With the Wind, Casablanca, or basically any of the other movies from that era which are considered classics. Just can't work up enough interest to bother. As a horror fan, I also admit to having never seen the original TCM.

I've never seen reservoir dogs or The Usual Suspects. Not for any reason, just haven't.

I haven't seen Casablanca, and didn't care for Citizen Kane, but Gone With the Wind really does deserve a viewing.

With Vorph as well. Never seen any of those 3 movies. I know my mom read Gone with the Wind and it's been sent countless of times on the tele.

I saw Citizen Kane recently after putting off watching it for a long time, and I wasn't all that impressed. Casablanca though is just fucking awesome - the dialogue in that movie is some of the best ever put on paper, period.

Some Woody Allen movies are funny... most are not. The man is overhyped, that's for damn sure. Manhattan is excellent though, easily his best.

It's not exactly a cinematic masterpiece, but I haven't, and refuse to watch The Passion of the Christ.

Zelig please for Woody Allen! Zelig!

As far as movie shame go, I have like zero classic hollywood culture. I have done my Hitchcock, my Wells and even my Stroheim and a little Sternberg, Murnau, Curtiz and Lang, but I have seen almost no Howard Hawks, no John Ford, no Ernst Lubitsch, no Cecil B. De Mille, no Billy Wilder, no Frank Capra, no John Huston, no Preston Sturges, no Stanley Donen, no Joseph L. Mankiewicz, no George Cukor and no Douglas Sirk!
