This is the first time I've heard or seen anything like this, apparantly it's the new hip hop craze.

Pretty good movie imho. First part of the movie is about dancing and later on in the movie reflects on living in the LA ghetto's and trying to do something positive. Tends to get a bit tedious some parts, worth a watch though.

david lachappelle is mostly known for his photography (he has also directed some music videos)... like the picture of britney spears on a bed with a teletubby in her hand, the one we alljerked off to more than we care to admit, that's what the guy does.

Saw it the other day. It was interesting but yeah it does get tedious. A lot of the footage seemed to be different people saying the same thing and a lot of dancing spotlight solos. The Battlezone thing was really cool. The dancing looked too chaotic, there were some things they did that were cool (some flips, some robot stuff), but other then that it just seemed like seizure dancing.

Seemed like the movie could have been cut down to about 45 minutes and broadcasted on MTV, a lot of it played out like a music video. The strong religious theme was a bit of a turn off.

There was about 1 minute of footage of an asian krump group, I'd have rather watched a movie about them, man those kids were goofy.
