Looking for a movie

I saw this movie about 2 months ago on tv and I can't remember the name. I really enjoyed it and was going to recommend it to a friend of mine. Anyway the premise is some psychologists develop an experimental prison, where volunteers are assigned as either inmates or guards. I do know the movie is german, no clue what year it was made but I think likely within the last 5-7 years, but the name totally escapes me.

Anyone seen this movie and have a clue wtf I am talking about?

Das Experiment

I've read some pretty negative things about the quality of the Stanford study that that movie was based off of, heh.

Hmmm since we are on topic of enjoyed but forgotten movies :

I remember this movie , dont know the title , pretty long time ago like in the '90 . All i remember was that it was with Cristopher Walken and he was a badass drug dealer who got off prison and tried to get "his shit back togheder " , taking revenge on old enemies and trying to get his bussiness back on track . Gassh damn ... any ideeas ?

No clue what you are talking about, but I'm sure the list there can help you find it.

I thought it was a good movie. People like to compare it to Scarface, but I think Scarface is much better.

Hehe i thought it was a really good movie too .

But how can people compare movies is beyond me . Each movie is a unique experience in itself , a good or a bad expirience but unique nontheless.

Of course you can say "i enjoyed XXX better than YYY" but to say "XXX movie is better than YYY" is plain wrong and makes baby jesus cry. Or something.

Mmmmmh not really (I am tired so that's the short version).

That said, I barely remember King of New-York, but I think it was pretty good. I remember mostly shots of Walken cruising in the night of New-York with the solemn attitude of a man facing his heavy burden.
