I never expect much as far as plots and such go with foreign translated and dubbed dialog, but this movie was really bad. The fight scenes were really awful because of how much they were speed up on film. It’s literally like watching people move in fast-forward. This guy has talent and does all his own stunts, but he’s really slow apparently. The movements are not fluid, and it makes me shudder, again, when I see how blatantly speed up the fight scenes are. If I recall the sound effects made me want to cry too.

I think this movie was pretty over-hyped on this board. The flying elbows and instant replay shit got old, fast.

Where did you hear that the fights were sped up? It really dosent look like it to me. I havent heard anyone else mention that either.

yea, I specifically recall hearing that they were NOT sped up, which is partly why it's supposed to be amazing. I have not seen the movie but I have seen his demonstration videos and the man is unbelievable.

Shitty story/acting aside in the movie, Ja kicks stupid amounts of ass. The whole movie is just one big excuse for his stunts, which isn't really a bad thing, because they are damn good.

Not spedup. Not even once. Watch the dvd and he does the same stunts infront of an audience in France. Same speed as in the movie. Hes just bad ass.

so the actress who played Muay was just unbelievably cute...but I couldn't imagine maintaining an erection through sex with her unless she was gagged. Goddamn the Thai Language sounds like nails on a chalkboard when she speaks it.

I think the quote is actually "Every shot was thrown with murderous intentions."

This was right before or after he said something about wanting to kill his opponent and eat his children.
