| I found the dialogue horrid. Not just the delivery (alba), but the script in general. It was nothing new. The stylization allowed me to be excited by the beginning of the movie but it quickly wore off. Also the plot was pretty fucking lame. Oh yeah, and Elijah Wood sucks elf balls. |

| Awesome movie, in my top 10 for sure. Best of '05. I agree that Alba's acting fucking sucked. Madsen was alright, i'm not sure why everyone hated it so much. I loved everyone else's acting, especially the leads. And i seriously think that Jaime King and Carla Gugino are as hot if not hotter than Alba. Great women all around. |

| Lies. Alba is the hottest in Sin City.

| I finally got around to watching the DVD last night. Visually awesome, of course, and I enjoyed much of the cheeseball dialogue, especially "You've got a bum tickerrrr." Overall, I loved the movie. A thin plot alone does not a bad movie make. It tossed in enough solid beats throughout to keep things interesting enough. I tend to look at film like food. I don't sit down to eat a big, juicy piece of steak and bemoan the fact that it's lacking in vanilla ice cream and chocolate fudge. I love ice cream and I love chocolate fudge, but I'm capable of having a fullfilling experience consuming meals that have nothing to do with either. All in all, it was a lot of fun. |
