Star Wars - unanswered questions

After seeing the final installment, I'm still thinking about some of the plot holes and questions left unswered by this last movie.

Who was Sifo Diaz(sp?)?
He was the jedi who orriginally orderred the creation of the droid army and had been dead for about 10 years by the time episode 2 came out. I was expecting the emperor to reveal that he was once the jedi who had ordered the army, but no such luck.

Who biological components were inside of grievous?
I was fairly certain it was Darth Maul, but it never addressed it. (on a side note, compared to the cartoons, he was too pussy in the movie, imo)

I'm sure there are other things people are wondering about. I'm just hoping people that have scoured all of the additional works might have some more info on these are other plot holes.

I wouldn't say that the parts inside Grievous were from Maul because he said in the movie that he was trained to fight with lightsabers by Dooku. If it was Maul's brain, he would have already known how to use them. I atleast am pretty sure Grievous had a brain, I might be wrong.

Yeah no bobba fett was a downer. I always heard from people who read the books what a hoss he was then in the movies his shit fucks up and he goes down into that sand thing. I read half the book where he's trapped inside that thing and eventually gets out, I was hoping for some fett love

In the book, or so I heard, they say that Dooku was Sifo Dias. He just used that name or maybe the real Sifo Dias was at Kamino and Dooku killed him and just kept the cloning process going.

It was one or the other. Sorry that I forgot. =P I'd go look it back up, but i can only take so much theforce.net geekdom in one day.

After the Sarlacc plays with his mind(i think) for a unstated-longish period of time, he summons his ship, Slave 1/2 which he uses to free himself and actually kill the Sarlacc.

He's still bad ass, I mean c'mon he solo'd one of the IG-88 droids.
Fun side note, one of those droids transferred its "brain" into the Death Star's main computer and was waiting for it to be complete before it took control..

Go to wikipidia and search Star wars, make sure you make a few pots of coffee and get comfortable.

Jengo states he was hired by a man named Tyranus.

Dooku = Darth Tyranus so that clears that up,they are the same guy.

grievous was a living person a leader of some faction who was asked to do something for the sepratists and refused, his ship had a bomb planted planted on it which nearly killed him.Someone on the sepratists side made him a new body and he believed the republic planted the bomb or whatever.

Or itsthe other way around republic asked him bomb blew up.It's all on the wikipidia.

Along with hours of other info.

There is 3 different stories of Boba getting out of the pit.

In one story he revealed his face to his rescuers and explained that his face used to be one of those face's everyone recognoized.A nod to the fact that he is a clone ....

Actually according to this Book 1 of the Bounty Hunter Wars that I have (ironically, the only EU book I own) Boba used his flamethrower while he was being digested and he fell through the sarlacc's corpse into a chamber underground that was part of Jabba's Palace. Then some other bounty hunters find him and nurse him back to health while he has flashbacks.

Never finished the book tho.

Thanks for all the info guys. I too was hoping for Boba in Ep. III, and was even expecting him to perhaps dispatch Mace in revenge (a better death, imo). Oh well.

Damn, Bobba Fett had a trilogy book set written about him too. The first book was called The Mandalorian Armor i believe, and IT said he got out of the sarlacc by setting off a thermal detonator inside of it.

The rest of the book is him being treated to by some chick, cuz he's all sorts of fucked up. *shrugs* That one makes the most sense to me though, not far fetched at all.
