Well, here's one abysmal review at The Guardian.

Maybe I'm just too jaded after Ep I & II, but I'll wont be ever caught again so blissfully excited and full of stellar expectations as I was, watching the opening music of "the Phantom Menace" at the cinema back in the day.

That guy didn't like Fellowship of the Ring or the Two Towers either, I can't trust his taste in movies.

I wonder how Joaquim Phoenix would have been as Anakin.

To finally answer your question: Yes. It does, but very briefly. The Emperor/Yoda and Anakin/Obi-Wan fights are intercut with one another, and DoTF plays for a short while during both fights.

*Excitement x100* so its not really a brilliant sequel, but more of a great stand alone film part of a saga ?

I think I may actually go see this at midnight if I can find some friends who want to go see it then too.

While I was reading the first paragraph, I was thinking, "Oh God no!" But then I read the rest and now I have to go masturbate.
