no kidding. if i ever get to the point where an awesome movie with a few small questionable things (even though it's SCIENCE FICTION) isn't good enough for me...

Official 2minute Sith trailer was played last night on OC. Check your favorite torrent tracker. Should be around 50-60mb. It's incredible.

The "impossible physics" stuff (FORCE ANYONE?) doesn't bother me in the least. It's science fiction.

But the terrible plot and acting issues in the last two movies, plus Lucas going way overboard with the lightsabers (cmon, about the most that Luke did in RotJ was jump from the floor to a balcony)... meh.

But I am looking forward to 3 now. I hope I don't get let down =P

Say what you will about George Lucas, (and I say he's a genius) but that man can make a good movie trailer. I had the tears welling up with "YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE" and the music going and oh god it's going to be good.

I'm getting a little optimistic now, but damn the trailers always do that.

I am looking forward to some good lightsaber duels. Episode 2 was really poor in that regard. God did I hate the Dooku v. Anakin duel: face shot (red flash), face shot (blue flash), face shot (red flash), face shot (blue flash), face shot (red flash), face shot (blue flash), cut off arm. At least Episode 1 had Obi-Wan/Qui-Gonn v. Maul.

Episode 3 looks like it could have some good ones. My god, in the trailer alone I counted:

Anakin v. Dooku, probably early in the movie.

Yoda v. Palpatine, senate chambers just flying at poor Yoda.

Mace and posse v. Palpatine, mega-fast attack from the Emperor.

Mace alone v. Palpatine, is this how Samuel L. Jackson said he wanted to go out?

Potential fight between Obi-Wan v. Grievous and posse, Obi-Wan surrounded by hundreds of droids, let alone Grievous plus 4 bodyguards also with lightsabers?

Obi-Wan v. Grievous alone, hopefully the spoiler I accidentally read a few weeks ago is wrong, but a good fight I'm sure.

Anakin v. Various Jedi, and was that Nute Gunray he whacked too?

Anakin v. Obi-Wan, the ultimate.

And the best thing going for episode 3 so far... PG-13.

Yeah, supposedly all the little Jedi kids from Episode II are rounded up and sent into one room. The door opens, you see Anakin standing there, all the kids are shoved inside, the door closes, and the last thing you hear is a lightsaber.

Awwwww, yeah.
