| Hide and Seek Not really worth seeing imo. De Niro is great, obviously, just because he's De Niro plus we see him play an unfamiliar role. Other than that the movie is your typical horror/drama. Not really very scary either. Oh and...*SPOILER* Is anyone else sick of this whole LETS MAKE THE MAIN CHARACTER THE BAD GUY AT THE END genre? So played out. |

+20 Internets | Pretty sure he put that huge space gap to keep that information away from people who haven't seen it. Though now after reading that my immediate guess it that DeNiro is the bad guy and ended up killing the mom or whatever in the movie a long time ago and perhaps the ghost-child thingie talking to the girl. edit: Oh and I love Deniro but he's def taken a turn for the worse as of late. http://boxofficemojo.com/people/char...bertdeniro.htm Nothing after Ronin was that great besides maybe Men of Honor. | They did a decent enough job of trying to make it look like other people were doing it and it wasn't real obvious who the killer was. But, this movie was terrible and not scary at all. At one point the whole audience broke out in laughter when someone was being killed, it just looked cheesy as hell. I wish I had 2 more hands so I could give this movie 4 thumbs down. |

+14 Internets | I knew it was Deniro when they did that kettle on the oven bit. Water doesnt boil that fast...thus one can logically assume he "lost time". And what makes you lose time in these movies? Thats right...either aliens, government conspiracies, or multiple personalities ;p The end was kinda predictable too....you knew there was going to be something on the drawing that would be the "the end...OR IS IT???" zinger. Well, at least they were all smiling...

| I guess I must be niave, because I saw it coming, but refused to believe we'd see the same old (and tired) "suprise" ending that they used yet again. I really thought they were going to go on about the girl just going crazy over her mom's death, and her psycosis coupled with the neighbors would make some wierd twists. Then in the end it just got worse, and then finally spiralling into what really happened, and I felt ripped. The movie wasn't God-awful, but it wasn't worth the 8 bucks by any means either. |

| I think it was an okay movie. Nothing spectacular. Famke Jenssen is hot, DeNiro plays good and it's good to see him in a different role and Dakota Fanning is scary. Nothing but a simple thriller, it's not really original at all anymore. But wasn't all that bad, imo, it's just cause we ARE too used to those kind of plots. Scenery and music was done fine. I have a little nag against the pace because they revealed the twist pretty early, and after that I was pretty bored, I just wanted to see if he either got the upper hand (like Secret Window - haha spoiled! ) or was killed. When that police officer came in and had that glass of water and Emily stood on the stairs, I was like... That's really the girl from The Excorcist! 3/6. Ok.
