| Alexander I got back from an advance sneak peek and all I can say is... Save yourself your money and don't watch this piece of shit. Its one thing to be 3 hours long and its another to be borderline gay porno. After watching it I will have to watch 10 straight hours of porno to redeem myself. Halfway through you will want to gouge your eyes out like Oedipus did. I guarantee it. |

| He should stick with Vietnam war flicks.... Platoon was quite good ![]() Oh and absolutely DO NOT go in thinking its a war film because it is not - its a long long long soap opera/drama with some bloody war that people will clamor for because it stops the sheer amount of talk and bullshit that goes on in between the two major war scenes |

| He's most defenitely gay (or at least they get as close to possible as being so without them openly acknowledging it) Main problem IMO is they try to make it seem too epic when it didn't need to be - every dialogue seems too trite and made up And midway through the movie you will start wondering "wtf is the point of this movie" - its not really a bio flick its not really a politics flick its not really a war flick... it just doesn't have a message, meaning, or bearing at all. |

+15 Internets | My U of A history professor Dr. Engels ( Professor in greek studies with emphasis on Alexander and Lakedaemon) got a call from Oliver Stone for advice for this movie. He refused because he felt Stone would glamourize Alex like all his other movies. Guess he was right.

| There was a good article in Entertainment magazine on this flick. Just by reading it you could tell that it would turn out to be total shit. Rushed production from the beginning they had like 3 months less than Troy had to shoot and they lost a ton of battle footage through some fuck up at customs where the film got x-ray'd after filming was complete so they lost like two weeks worth of work. |

I'd sit through 10 minutes of watching gay sex to see Angelina getting penetrated looking how she looks in that film. Oh yes. | |

| I think I heard from a friend that the ratings boards wanted to rate Alexander NC-17 because it had gay sex (normal sex only rates and R) and the producers told them too bad since this was history and they really can't tell it differently.
