How long does this guy plan on doing Berserk? I heard the only reason they haven't considered a 2nd season of the anime is because the manga is neverending which is unfortunate because it is my favorite.

I thought that was part of the chapter. All the monsters were appearing everywhere that men had imagined.

I thought the Genishken fight took too long. What was it like 2 volumes already with that crap? Now they can get on with what Guts and the crew are doing.

I read up to 288 then onemanga.com didnt scan anymore, and kinda of lost interest to read it anymore.

Wish they'd do another claymore anime, but follow the manga storyline, similar to the new FMA.

Claymore started turning really stupid when I stopped reading. Some bullshit about them being a testing ground for a bigger war, blah blah. It sucks.

Claymore is still pretty awesome imo... only problem I have is that the monthly format kinda pisses me off with this manga. They introduce so many new female characters that I can't remember who the fuck they are two issues later when they show up again.

Berserk, however, lost me a bit after the crazed horse tried to rape some knight woman. Clearly that's when the mangaka started taking Hallucinogens with their regular assortment of drugs.

But anyway, yeah there is a lot of rape in Berserk. Mostly women, but the main character Gatsu was raped as a child. IIRC berserk contains a lot of taboo and/or fucked up sexual acts. But it's not that big of a deal considering the plot and setting. Fucked up shit happened in the middle ages; add into it plague, magical demons and gods doing whatever they want, constant warfare between the "not-European" western countries and the imminent threat of invasion from the "not-Persian" eastern empire, social upheaval, and the best part of all: famine. Yeah it's a bad time to be a man, woman, or child in Berserkland.

It's not a massively popular manga like Dragonball or something back in the day. 10/10 people will know dragonball but maybe 1 or 2 out of 10 people will know Berserk.

is there any online source to read it translated? I've only seen the anime and curious as to how much further the manga went without downloading the massive torrent.

Just download the torrent my friend. Wondering how much farther Berserk's manga went past its anime would be like wondering how much further EQ has gone after you kill Innoruk.
