Yeah, Artemis Entreri gets a pretty good storyline in the Sellswords Trilogy (Servant of the Shard, Promise of the Witch King, Road of the Patriarch).

I must say, I was getting bored of the Drizzt books, but I've found the Transitions series to not be so bad, Salvatore's actually moving the character forward again.

Between reading RA Salvatore's Drizzt books and his books based on the DemonWars, it really seems that he has more fun writing DemonWars related stuff. That's probably because it's his own world that he created, but meh.

I just finished Servant of the Shard and besides Drizzt I've come to like Jarlaxle the best. He's such an awesome character! I just don't care for Atremis that much..it's just me. The Sellswords books will prolly change my mind though.

Almost done with the first book in the Paths of Darkness quadrilogy. I'm kind of over Wulfgar. Someone said in this thread that they should never have revived him and I'm sadly, after this book, going to have to agree.

Ugh.

I have to say since I've started The Thousand Orcs this week I have begun to really appreciate Ivan and Pikel Bouldershoulder. They are very fun fellows to read about. I hope they get some time in The Cleric Quintent which I got the hardcover book off Ebay this week for $20 and in pretty good condition.

Just finished Spine of the World and now on Servant of the Shard. Spine got pretty good near the end, especially with the Meralda arc.

Which to read next?

I'm about to finish off The Thousand Orcs(very awesome book, btw) and will read and finish The Two Swords pretty quickly so I ordered from Amazon today: The Orc King(along with The Pirate King) and Promise of the Witch King, Sellswords Book 2(along with Road of the Patriarch, the third Sellswords book) so which one should I start on next?

As much as I enjoy Drizzt's storyline, I have to throw my love to The Cleric Quintet. Compact (for a 5 parter), epic, well-written and hilarious. Cadderly, Danica, Ivan and Pikel are all awesome characters.

Just finished The Orc King and I have to say it's one of the best in the series!

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I was pretty bummed RA killed off Innovindil. I thought Drizzt and her clicked alot more and was a more interesting pairing than Drizzt/Cattie-brie. I'm sort of sick of Cattie-brie now.

Yeah Orc King was damn good, though the best trilogy so far is the Sellswords imo. Pirate King was iffy in my book, I don't know what it was but I just didn't like it much, maybe too much political bs in it

I plan on starting The Pirate King tonight and after that'll I'll read the second and third Sellswords books and then I'm on to the Cleric Quintent.

After that I'm debating on moving on to Demowars Series or to start on the Fire and Ice series till Ghost King comes out. I have a month of reading to do before I have to decide. So plenty of time.
