[Manga] One Piece - Spoilers up to the most recent Chapter.

Dammit are you serious? lol, I never really read the covers, I just dive right in to the material. I kept seing CP9 on there so i always thought it was just useless stuff and bypassed it. I guess now i'll have to double back and look again.

Yea, take a day to check out all the covers. There are some funny side stories like Enel on the moon with a rabbit army and that guy from skypeia who forgets to open his mouth to talk helping some people out with some giant mole extermination.

But remember: they dont go into much detail since its literally just one panel. Regardless, progress is being shown in the lost crew member stories -- which leads me to believe the manga wont flesh out most of them.

One Piece chapter 548 is out. Awesome chapter as usual, it's like the writer hit the throttle like 50 chapters ago and hasn't let go since.

I wonder if we'll ever see him again, it is a possibility considering Blackbeard and his crew are still around, and few people in One Piece ever die anyway, except in flashbacks

Great chapter as always, the up coming battles are going to fuckin own. Whitebeard jumping into action alone is well fuckin worth going 400+ episodes. Not to mention later on when they finally put in his father + red hair.

Wow. Talk about revelations. Ace is Luffy's cousin, lol. Wait, what is Dragon exactly? Gol's son? I can't remember if they ever discussed that.

I thought Ace and Luffy were brothers? and Revolutionary Dragon is Garps son I thought, who is in turn Luffy's pop. Atleast thats all what I thought to had believed, now im madly confused.

To me it seems like they're half-brothers. Different mothers and whatnot, since Ace is older and that whole revelation of his mother. Unless I really confused it somewhere

Isn't Garp Gol's brother, then? Man, I wish I could remember, but yeah, Luffy is Dragon's son and now we find out Ace is Gol's son.

Luffy and Ace aren't related based on the current information that's given to us. Garp is Dragons father, and Dragon is Luffys father. It has only said that Garp and Roger had a long history with each other with Garp almost capturing him several times but nothing that they are related by blood.

The only relation that it has shown between Roger and Garp however has been The Will of D.

Well they aren't brothers by blood -- by any means. They just grew up along side eachother, with Ace being Garp's adopted grand son (Garp was probably the closest thing Gol probably had to a brother that wasn't a "sinner" aka a pirate -- and he wanted Ace to live a good life)

I had a suspicion that they had no blood relation mainly due to their names. But the fact that he's the son of the pirate king was just a curve ball to me.

But the Will of D. is still shrouded in mystery. A name bestowed upon those fortuned for greatness somewhere down the lines of ancestry?

Came across this as I was pondering about D.. It's definitely something to think about.

The Void Century is one of the more interesting points in the story here. Also I suspect that Blackbeard has learned something about it, since im utterly clueless what he is doing currently in the story line. I hope it does not turn into a whole revelation, similar to when Goku learned he was from another planet.

I am also curious as to how that will unfold. I mean depending on how long One Piece will last the Void Century is going to have to be something fairly big if you base it off the conversation with Nico Robbin and Rayleigh.

I am still a big surprised about Luffy and Ace not having the same dad, I had figured they were both Monkey D Dragons kid's and had different mothers since it stated earlier in the series that he took his name from his mother, Portgas D. Rouge. So I guess they aren't related at all other than growing up together.

Also while I am excited to see what goes down on at the Marine HQ, I would really like some sort of update on the rest of the crew, there are the small frames on first page of the manga but a solid background on what has happened to each would be nice.
