Fuck I'd wish they'd take 52 or something and make it into like mini-series (but maybe longer). And adult style too, I want to watch Black Adam murder bitches.

I believe it was the new series of X-Men, #3, when Moira had developed a way to brainwash mutants, and about half of the X-Men were working for Magneto, living on asteroid M, while the other half of the team were flying towards it in a plastic ship. Both sides fight each other, gets pretty rough, and they realize the brainwashing only holds as long as they don't use their mutant powers. The sides reconcile as Asteroid M is going to shit, and Charles begs Magneto to leave with them, and Magneto goes into the monologue about how growing up in the concentration camp has permanently screwed up his views to the point where he will never be able to share Charles' vision. Just a really awesome read.

It's funny about the use of powers breaking the brainwashing, because it shows Wolverine take a drag on his cigar and immediately break out of the conditioning as his lungs healed themselves.

The Flash was cool. I always like his predecessor, Barry Allen also. When he died, and Wally West took over as the Flash (he was Kid Flash), it was a great fit for the aging demographic of comics (which is now like age 25+ now). Flash became kind of a wise-cracking slacker that had mony problems (which most of us do at that age).

I was pissed when in Infinite Crisis, they writers tried to have Wally West be trapped in limbo (the Speed Force dimension). So when Impulse (basically Kid Flash) took over, there must have been alot of backlash. In less than a year, the writers killed off Impulse and brought Wally West out of the Speed Force dimension. The only problem is that he was trapped there with his wife and babies, and time moved faster for the babies. In one year, they became teenagers. And now we basically have a "Flash Family" comic book where he teaches them how to be heroes. The son has super strength and the daughter has the power to turn intangible aka Shadowcat. Lame.

Xmen 155: This the first comic book I can ever remember reading. This is back when X Men was good, and not the mutant soap opera we get now. The Xmen were fighting the Brood, and Colossus had some alien acid hit him in the chest, weakening the area. Later on, a building falls on him, and a piece of metal got stuck in his chest.

I was actually young enough to think he was going to die.

Your missing the next panels of that Thor v Juggernaut fight where the hammer basically lovetaps Jugg and he says something like 'That tickeled, do it again'.

Great line.

The lightning crack in the first issue of The Dark Knight Returns. I don't have a pic, but it still sends chills up my spine every time I see it.
