Nth'd. It's not even that I dislike the idea of superheroes. I don't. But Jesus H. Christ. Look at that dialogue. And it's drawn in such a way that you can barely even tell what's going on. Every time I've attempted to read a comic I come to the same conclusion. Cool ideas, absolutely horrible implementation.

It looked like what happens when Captain Marvel and Superman fight. Marvel starts the chain bolts and eventually Superman uses super speed to fuck him with it.

Happened in the JL cartoon, happened in Kingdom Come, etc.

People forget how powerful Storm is. She's probably in the top ten most powerful mutants in the Marvel Universe.

An Omega-level mutant would is considered to be what a regular mutant is to a human. Dark Phoenix was an Omega level mutant. Storm's been mentioned to be just under Dark Phoenix's level of power (who once blew up a planet with an energy blast and had the power to defeat Galactus), and probably on par with Professor X. Not only that, but in the past, she's proven to be pretty tough against tank/brick types of charachters. She thows a few storms at them at once (thunder, lighning, snow, hail, ice) and then just hits them with lightning. They can barely move and are so disoriented that she just keeps nuking them with her lightning until they fall.

And I know its not the same, but in COH, there's no way an invuln charachter could take out my Storm defender. When I hit the tank with snow storm (to slow down the attack rate), ice storm (to slow down their movement and make them less damage resistant), lightning storm for damage, and use gail to keep them away from me, its pretty easy to just kite them with ranged lightning attacks. And if they get close in, they have to deal with hurricane (a huge accuracy debuff). I guess my point is imagine trying to sit in the center of 5 storms at once, with 100 mph winds, thunder to mess up your balance, ice, snow, etc. , and getting hit with lightning bolts repeatedly. There probably aren't too many charachters in the comics that could stand up to that.

This is from the crossover that was based on popular voting. People voted for who would win each fight, and the one with the most votes was written/drawn in as the victor. That explains why Storm beat Wonderwoman, she's way more well-known and popular for general audiences.
