| Edit: ^^ Black Company is part of The Books of the South right? It seemed badass after first few pages and Steven Erikson's review on the back made me tingle. Bought 4 new books tonight: The Runes of the Earth - Stephen R. Donaldson The Books of the South - Glen Cook Mad Kestrel - Misty Massey The Wild Wood - Charles de Lint Picked them all up randomly after reading first few pages. I know nothing about them or their authors. Anyone read any of them? I know Donaldson is somewhat of a legend.

| Oh shit. I was really looking forward to reading that first... Already started it. So I need to buy The Black Company first then Shadows Linger then The White Rose?

| Thud! - Terry Pratchett. Borders has all his books on sale for $12 so I've been buying up the last few I haven't read. Also made an impulse purchase of 'Necronomicon (Commemorative Edition) - The Best Weird Tales of HP Lovecraft'. Because it had a nice shiney cover and I've been meaning to read some more of his stuff for ages. It's got 37 of his stories over 800 pages or so. Can't wait to sink my teeth into it. |
