I am not a big biography reader, but I did happen to read The First American: The Life and Times of Benjamin Franklin recently and I really enjoyed it. It was not overly clinical and much of it felt almost like reading a novel just because of all the amazing shit he was a part of. It focuses more on politics and social issues than his inventing and such. It's very interesting reading about the Revolution and the various roles he played in it. I'd recommend it if it's on your list, but then I have no frame of reference to compare it to really. I don't normally read those type of books, and it kept me interested so that's the best I can say about it.

I am blowing through the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. Just a lot of simple, fast paced fun. Nice change of pace for me. Easy reads.

World War Z, Zombie Survival Guide, the newest Kim Harrison book (and the one before it), the new Maximum Ride (it's simplistic but I read books so fast I end up reading a lot of stuff), um I'm sure others I'm forgetting. Oh yeah Infected by I think it's Scott Sigler.

I just recently picked up the Shadowmoor anthology (yes, it's for M:tG. Kiss my ass.) Been thinking of picking up Gardens of the Moon as well, but lately the most books I buy are school textbooks... ><

Yeah, I just bought Consider Phlebas and The Player of Games. Culture virgin here, as well ![]() Anyway, for those who weren't aware, the abovementioned books were finally published (republished?) in the states. I think a few more are scheduled for this summer.
