| Scratch Beginnings Sounds like a pretty interesting book. Basically a recent college grad takes 25 bucks, a sleeping bag and a train ticket to a random city and turns into a homeless person. Who then spends 1 year trying to better himself, and go from what basically is rock bottom, and build himself up to have a furnished apartment, a vehicle, and at least $2,500 in cash. He promises not to beg for money, use any prior contacts, or let anyone know that he's got a college degree. I was thinking about picking it up, and was wondering if anyone had read it and if it was a decent read or what not? |
