Alhazred

I'm not sure if we have any Lovecraft readers here, but this book by Donald Tyson brings Abdul Alhazred to life in a beautiful, as well as extremely violent way. For anybody who loves books dealing with the occult, or even fantasy and horror lovers, this book is a must read. I won't write any details on the book because I would probably butcher the description. But here is the link to amazon with some reviews. Amazon.com: Alhazred: Author of the Necronomicon: Donald Tyson: Books

I am a huge, and possibly obsessed, Lovecraft fan. Alhazred was okay, but it is not that great of a creepy "Lovecraftian" story, if that is what you are looking for.

If you were really a lovecraft fan, you would have said you were a vast, uncomprehensible fan whose devotation shattered the minds of lesser beings.

Good sirs, simply wait for Gene Wolfe's An Evil Guest coming in a few months for good Lovecraft fiction. It will be glorious, mark my words. Edit: Unfathomably, indescribably, grotesquely, perversely glorious.
