| Looks like it's a good book. Scimmed through the first couple days of release, and then skipped because I didn't want to read any potential spoilers. I think I'll start reading these books again in about a year. It'll take me almost a year to read the whole series with the time I have. Once I'm done the last book should be out. |

It's also possible it was also included just to have Matt do something, but that seems odd in a work that's trying to wrap things up. | |

| I have to agree that the final Matt sections in that town seemed kind of pointless. Sanderson has stated that he tried his best to follow Jordan's wishes and get everything down into one book - so why write that part up unless it was something that Jordan had intended to include?

| The ending very much surprised me, it blew away a theory I had had for years about how it would finish. Spoiler Alert, click show to read: I ended up reading the second half in one lump, just couldn't put it down. No fucking clue why though, 2011 before we get to the proper end, I didn't really need to rush ![]() Edit - negged for "cry baby mode" ? I thought the book forum was immune to most of the fuckwits that troll mmorpg general, I guess not. Oh well, shame people who write those don't have the braincells to rub together to generate a relevant response instead of a random load of nonsense that doesnt relate to what I said.

| Brandon Sanderson Blog: #1 #1 on best sellers list, knocking off Dan Brown. Sold more in first week than Knife of Dreams did. Good for Brandon. |

| Well deserved by Sanderson. I'll definitely have to read his own stuff now when I get the chance.
