Sanderson has been working on his other projects for the last couple months, while The Gathering Storm gets ready for release. Slow news otherwise, but Sanderson is trying to get the last book named A Memory of Light since the books won't have aMoL as a title with a subtitle following it.

Would be criminal not to have A Memory of Light as a name in there somewhere, its imo the best title in the series.

Well, he got 2.5 million for the first 4 Way of Kings novels, so you really can't fault the guy for working on that for a bit.

Yea, thats the official release date. It was november 1st but it got bumped.

Somewhere I asked this before, but anyway - does anyone have that old PDF that was basically a 1-10 or so Cliff Notes of the series? Fuck all if I remember everything that's going on up to this point, and I've read the whole thing twice now. :\

After you've read the series and just go back and read chapters without any of the female characters in it, you have a really good story.

Also anything with perrin past TSR is painful.

Skip any chapter that isn't about Rand, Matt or Perrin, start skipping Perrin around #4 or #5, and you'll basically get the series as it should have been.

Edit: And I assume it won't involve Space Elvis fighting Zombie Mussolini with dual lightsabers. After all, George Lucas would never let that happen.
