Williams: Books I finished the first one in a few hours I couldn't put it down. Been working through the second one slowly. It's an "Uncle Eric" book which is written as a series of letters to Eric's (Rick Maybury) fictional nephew so it's simple and easy to understand yet very engaging. Essentially, it covers the economics of the wars and shows how they were nothing new in the history of Europe and why the U.S. Didn't need to get involved. |

+1 Internets | Midnight Tides The Bonehunters The Princess Bride 30th Anniv. Ed. - Been saying I was going to read this for several years now and finally got around to it. One of my favorite movies of all time and I loved the book even more. Chronicles of the Black Company - Only 150'ish pages in and I really like the characters so far. The Company's mages crack me up with their constant feuding. Speaking of the mages I think it's the part they come back with a couple strands of hair and Croaker says One-eye (I think) starts doing a weird celebration dance and YouTube - Digital Cocaine is what I pictured him doing lol. | The Sorrow of War by Bao Ninh Green Parrots by Gino Strada I got Heart-Shaped Box by Joe Hill and The Accidental Empire: Israel and the Birth of the Settlements, 1967-1977 by Gershom Gorenberg on the way from Amazon. I read 20th Century Ghosts by Joe Hill a few weeks ago and am a big fan - it's very Stephen King (not surprising as Joe is his son). |

| Because biographies are my favorite method of consuming history.. Amazon.com: Augustus: The Life of Rome's First Emperor: Anthony Everitt: Books Some biographies tend to be long winded and "text-booky" but this one almost reads like an adventure novel. Great book if you're into that kind of thing. On deck is a book about Benjamin Franklin. I'm sure there's a ton of them I just gotta pick one.
