Aye. Decent chapter. Was an insanely short fight though,but aye, Naruto didn't go back to retard mode. Just don't get why their country is that rash. Yes, they let Sasuke run "free", but no one could really have predicted the outcome anyway. Most people figured Sasuke joined Orochimaru and not Akatsuki and was onto killing an Akatsuki member instead. Why they wouldn't just approach the Konoha villagers and ask them instead... shrug

Yeah, Lenas is probably correct. All the Jinchuuriki gave Gaara is the the sand protection and most likely some chakra since he was able to control sand very well when he was a child.

Wondering how powerful Gaara is now. I kinda forgot his story about the Jinc. During the chuunin exams, wasn't the monster inside him the tailed beast that he somehow must have drawn chakra from? Then supposedly his sand control still stands, but perhaps he doesn't have an equally powerful chakra pool to "spend" from, which might have weakened the overall efficiency of the sand powers(?).

I would imagine Gaara to be still pretty powerful minus alot of chakra. If i remember correctly in the anime at the end of it all he used sand to life Naruto's hand to shake his so his power with sand stayed, he just possibly a bit weaker now.

"IIRC, at the end of the rescue arc, Gaara used sand to lift up Naruto's hand, so they could shake. So, I can reasonably assume his power stayed, yet it may be weaker than what we had previously seen."
