Eh, it was less a waste than some of the talky points during the Pein fight and a few of the episodes just prior to the Pein fight.

No.

Madara shows up, reveals himself to be a time-traveling Itachi. This is acutally the event that lead to the 9 tails being sealed into Naruto. The 4th reseals the 9 tails and aided by Madara/Itachi, rewinds time back to when Naruto is a kid. This is actually the 10th time they've had to do this. The series restarts at Naruto chapter 1.

I agree, it was indeed a sad face when I read it. This is one the small things I look forward to weekly and it was a letdown imo.

Lawdy please, no flashback issues for the next 10 weeks.

Didn't Yamato's hand display the #9 near the end of that issue? If so, does that mean the 9 Tails has basically escaped the seal with only a little of it being held back in Naruto's mind?

I actually wouldn't mind some flashbacks at this point. I am very, very curious as to the last moments of the 4th's life when he devised the whole 9-Tails seal plan. It still amazes me how he could devise such a detailed jutsu as well as the contingency plan in such short(?) order.

I still say the 4th had an encounter with Madara that night.

Would not surprise me if the 4th was not the seal himself. I mean his spirit is saying how he is happy to see his son? There is no actual burial spot for the 4th iirc, so nothing to say that he actually "died" is there? More so he gave his life to seal the 9 tailed.

I am looking forward to what the 4th has to say. It really seems like this series is coming to an end within the next 30 issues or so. If you haven't you should check out his twin brothers' manga 666 Satan Manga - Read 666 Satan manga scans online.. It starts out like a bad ripoff but it gets more interesting in the 2nd chapter. It's only like 75 issues long so check it out.

i dont know why, but i find comments like this to be hilarious. its a comic... there's nothing amazing about some guy sitting in a room making this stuff up.
