It looks like the Uchiha are going to end up having something major to do with Kyuubi. A friend of mine pointed this out to me. Looks like the same arrangement of symbols behind Itachi, with some of it covered by the throne.

I thought it was the founding Uchiha (Tobi?) that summoned the Kyuubi to attack the village? and then the 1st fought with him and thats where those 2 statues were when Sasuke/Naruto fought?

Also, does anyone understand whats going on with the whole Pain thing? It's so confusing I'm ready to disregard it entirely.

We knew Madara himself had something to do with Kyuubi, but he's obviously a rogue type anyway. The symbols being painted on the walls of the shrine suggests that the entire clan is linked to it in some way, which should be interesting.

Maybe they were supposed to keep the kyuubi at bay somehow, or they could've even been its keeper.

I'm still anxious to see if that scene where Sasuke was inside Naruto's mind and was able to dissipate the kyuubi formation means something...would be funny if he could suppress the kyuubi chakra and make Naruto suck vs him even more.

actually hasnt naruto been using his own chakra lately? I thought it was the fox's chakra that was taking him over during his training causing him to go into 4-tails mode.

Latest raw chapter looks pretty damn good. The fight between Sasuke and Itachi is on.

When the hell did Sasuke get the Mangekyo Sharingan, and how did he obtain it? The first time I see him actually use it was when he took out Orochimaru - did it just naturally form then?

Edit: I take that back. I realize now I was mixing up Sasuke's '3-dot' Sharingan with the Mangekyo.

honestly i'm getting a little bit tired of the whole waaaaaa itachi waaaaa rejoin us sasuke waaaaa. I'd like to see some fresh storylines, a lot of my favorite characters from previous arcs have gone to the backburner, and some of them looked really cool in their time-skip outfits. Would like to see them get back into country-vs-country plots.

What's Gaara been doing anyway?

He almost died and lost his Jinchuuriki. His capture, death, saving, and bringing back to life was the first big arc in Shippuuden.
