I need to look around and see, but it just feels like a guest artist drew this weeks episode. The whole artstyle felt different, alot of subtle differences to the characters. All in all it felt more like 20 minutes from a good Shippuuden movie with the Shikamaru stuff. I liked it.

Yeah the art direction was definitely better in this episode. I loved it. They need to keep that for every episode. The amount of detail in the movement was badass that I want to see more fights with it.

The art quality of the episodes gave me goosebumps. The art quality is top notch. Everything is so detailed, the movements, the expressions and the background. It felt a lot more lively than what I remember watching and it felt like a high quality production. The animation from what I remember use to be flat and boring. You'd think they would increase the art quality ages ago with how much money they're raking in. If they can keep this up I'd give them the thumbs up.

Definitely looked like a movie. The art quality is the only reason I watch the movies.. They look so good. Haven't really cared for any of the stories.

Interesting chapter. I like how Tsunade is using the best part of her abilities - healing - instead of direct confrontation with Pein.

Pein really is an interesting badass villain. Here's hoping we find out about his past and true extent of his powers in short order.

Who the hell is going to beat him now that Kakashi is potentially dead, Tsunade is busy healing, Naruto away training never to get the message and there's really no one else on that level? I'm not really sure, unless people are keeping their fingers crossed that Sasuke is gonna show up. Even then, Sasuke would have no reason to fight him.

Sucks we have to wait two weeks.

It seems the key is to separate the bodies and defeat them one on one, at least that's the only clue we've really gotten. If that is the case, maybe we'll see all of the above and get multiple fights with different Pein's going on at once. It'd be a great time to really show off some of the side characters.

Naruto will probably show up to defeat the last Pein using Sage abilities.
