After today's chapter, I think it's pretty obvious that Jiraiya will be dead in the next week or two. Unfortunate, but this is going to be a catalyst to make Naruto go ape-shit and live up to his papa.

I'm curious as to who Jiraiya wrote on the Frog Sage's back before he died. But fuck, it was a very nice way for a character like Jiraiya to go.

Naruto needs to finish his wtfpwn rasengan. Also, he needs to somehow pick up a few of his dad and Jiraiya's jitsu's - I mean, there's really no hope of Naruto ever catching up to Sasuke if he only has his one supermove to rely on.

I thought Naruto had already finished the nature rasengan? Or was what he used against that Akatsuki dude not a finalized version of it? I recall that it totally worked over that dude and his arm.

Sad to see Jiraiya go, but that was the best way for him to go. It'll be interesting to see what direction Naruto is going to go in now in the chapters ahead of us.

No, Naruto's wind-nature rasengan is only 50% complete I believe - that's why it fucks up his arm as it did.

The manga has it setup perfectly that Naruto could theoretically pick up a ton more jutsu's in a quick time. The question if he does get access to any of them is another problem.

Naruto needs to learn the body flicker thing the Fourth had, where he can throw those special kunai and teleport to them.

Make a bunshin or two, charge in and throw kunai with those while the real one is charging up wind-rasengan, then flicker to the enemy and it's gg.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read: The end of Jiraiya. Pretty touching chapter. It was great to see Minato and Kushina have some dialogue with Jiraiya. Also interesting to learn that Jiraiya is the one that gave Naruto his name! I thought that was a nice touch. I am thinking that this is finally going to be the catalyst that Naruto needs to get a strength boost on par/surpassing the beast known as Sasuke. He's gonna go apeshit when he finds out Jiraiya dies, and then he's going to meet that frog with the super-secret scroll of wtfpwn. Then he's going to do some hyperbolic time chamber training and then Pain is gonna die somehow. Great chapter IMO. __________________ 360 / PSN - LenasUchiha
