So who's going to die for Sakura to "grow up"? I don't see him killing Tsunade this soon. And Tsunade dying would probably affect Naruto as much as it would affect Sakura. It's a possibility of course, but that would be wasting the long term effect of Jiraiya's death on her.

Maybe it's going to be Sasuke going all "DOWN WITH THE LEAFS" and doing some stuff she "can't forgive".

yeah i was figuring the same thing. Kakashi can take over as hokage if tsunade dies.

That'll still require double up for "events" for him. A period where we really see him develop himself, the actual process. That timeline would probably be a couple of years atleast, but they could go back in time and just show a lot of like when he learned to use his Sharingan that parallel-dimension kinda way and a few years up. Then also where he ends up beating some really high level kinda Jounin so we actually get the idea that he's Hokage level. And then, well perhaps this is three events then, but the actual takeover of the Hokage position.

Don't get me wrong. I'm all in for Kakashi as potential Hokage, just don't feel that they've shown him enough to prove him worthy yet.

Some early spoilers show Sasuke with his own version of a perfect MS. At least his newest power up is offset by the loss of the cursed seal and Ori's chakra that Sasuke was containing.

I'd like to see more character development on Sakura as a more independent adult, instead of the whiney school girl she used to be. Neiji has always been my personal fav, and a little sad that they started to show Hinata coming into her own and then dropped her. Would like to see more Hebi too, it's shocking he didn't even want to expand on Hebi until ordered to do so.

I think Naruto as a series should take some cues from American comics, and simply have the Naruto universe, and then multiple concurrent series based in that universe. If not, it'll just end up being flavor of the month type of deal, as characters show up and get some face time and people who dislike those characters are turned off. The prospect of even more Sasuke focus doesn't appeal to me at all, especially after all this time painting him as a giant asshole.

Naruto could easily become 3 seperate concurrent mangas and still have more then enough content. If this keeps up, Masashi Kishimoto will become the next Robert Jordan. He'll die before we get a completed story :P

That would actually be pretty cool, but I'm not sure Kishimoto is that gutsy.

Would be interesting development with Sakura too, seeing the man she loves kill her master.

I saw this on NF and pretty sure they denounced this as a Fake. All kishi said in his last interview was that he would be concentrating on Sasuke this year and alot of the backstory leading up to this arc and the following arcs would start to pay off.

Also to the people who keep on referring to Kishimoto as "they" he's actually one person. In Japanese comics pretty much each manga author writes his own manga sometimes with some input from their editor/publisher. Don't think I've ever heard of them handing off a manga to another writer or having someone else start a spin-off so narutoverse seems unlikely.

Hrm, i guess the above might be fake. I just remember something about Kishi not concentrating on Naruto for a year and that was the first interview that popped up.

Can someone explain to me what is going on with the Sasuke/Itachi/Madara thing? I thought Itachi had already died and Sasuke didn't take much notice of it. Now Sasuke sees his older brother dying and takes great notice obviously because of what Madara has told him so. Is what I'm seeing flashbacks or what? Plus that whole interview fucked with my head about the whole "Sasuke vs Itachi" thing.

Obviously a lot of the frames are reminiscents of Sasuke's and Itachi's shared past.
