Yes, because madara transformed himself to a little sentimental and weak kid named obito who was far weaker/dumber then Kakashi was at that age.

Madara was also the giving type and as he died he gave his eye to Kakashi who just lost his. After death he comes back 20 some odd years later calling himself Tobi. Did I miss anything? Perhaps we should add some nonsensical time traveling.

Doesn't the fact that we have seen adult Mandara with two eyes as he steals his brothers enough to put this stupid fucking rumor to rest?

If not explain to me how little Obito who gave his eye to Kakashi magicly regained it later on in his life?

Or maybe Mandara fused his body with a decayed corpse of a Uchiha seems that would be a logic step to gaining immortality right?

I would be pretty pissed if Mandara and Obito are connected in any way unless there is some good fucking story telling to make it even semi believable.

BELIEVE IT.

Well Orochimaru transfers bodies to gain "immortality", why not Madara?
Adult Madara has 2 eyes, but so far Tobi has been seen only having one, which is the opposite one of what Obito had given Kakashi.
It would also explain how Kakashi has a Mangekyou of his own without killing his friend if the eye that was given to him had already achieved Mangekyou. We have seen people put on acts before to seem weaker than they actually are (i.e. Kabuto). With a storyline that includes a blue man with fish gills on his face, talking dogs, a kid with 100000 copies of himself and a banging 50 year old female leader - anything is possible. Who knows? It may or may not be Obito. It is almost 100% Madara. What if it is both?

I refuse to believe that kakashi gaiden was just to tell us how kakashi got his eye. Well we all have our theories. But i firmly believe that my suspicion has some truth to it even if its not straight on

Is the Kakashi Gaiden a part of the Naruto manga on onemanga.com, meaning following what chapters? Or is it a seperate "spin-off" tale? Gonna read it this weekend if it is out there on tha intawebz.

Naruto Chapter 239->244 are the Kakashi Gaiden.

Yeah. It's a good thing Obito's other half didn't get entirely crushed by a boulder. That would make his shit pretty unusable.

He was completely crushed by a boulder yet still managed to stay alive long enough for an amateur medical ninja to perform an operation of taking an eyeball out and transferring it to Kakashi. You know what fuck it I hope it is Obito and he has the MS too. Although I want his MS ability to be a plothole justsu that way we have over power the Shariginan even more without having to come up with an excuse for poor storetelling.

Hey, now just because he gave it a few new tricks... summons giant invulnerable monster thingy, space time jutsu (tobi), alternate dimension transporting bubble freaky shit jutsu (Kakashi), ridiculously strong genjutsu, and black fire which is several hundred times more potent then normal fire, doesn't mean it's overpowered.

It all makes sense now that Kakashi mentions space time jutsu, thats how the fourth got around in the kakashi gaiden. I'm gonna reread those chapters now =P.

It's really starting to annoy me how they just keep making the Sharingan more and more powerful. I mean fuck, it just makes everyone else's jutsu pale in comparison no matter how cool or unique it may be.

They should just rename the series Sharingan Wtfpwnz.
