Dude, this is a manga about freakin ninjas. Anything's possible.

That said I will be annoyed if Tobi=Obito. Just seems too cheap and convenient.

I believe Tobi is obito as well. The similar sounding name.

The fact that the eye that Tobi gave to kakashi is covered by a mask on tobi.

The fact that tobi's body is crushed and obito is wearing a suit with stuff that looks like nails and rivets in them (before he became an akatsuki and got the cloud robe you could see his body suit)

Maybe madara took tobi's body but tobi's soul comes up once in awhile resulting in split personalities of tobi (childish and serious).

Also, as said above, madara's magekyo sharingan looked different after he took his brother's. The pattern was combined.

Everyone's magekyo looks different. Kakashi/itachi/madara/madabro all had different looking MS.

Well if Tobi is in fact Obito, expect to see some Kakashi Gaiden in anime versions coming up.

Sure we learned about him in the manga, but if turns out Tobi is Obito, anime watchers aren't going to know wtf is going on.

Or maybe Tobi IS Madara, and his covered eye is the retardedly high powered Mangekyou, which he keeps covered when not in use as does Kakashi. Perhaps the immortality and unblinding Mangekyou Itachi has mentioned to Sasuke isn't as imba as we are led to believe.

I never understood why people persist with the Tobi is Obito theory, especially after the revelation that he is infact Madara. I feel like I'm in the lost thread... What possible reason could he have to take the body of a dead/crushed little Uchiha when the clan was still around and he had much better bodies to take.

I don't know why either Kaio, but people have done that forever.

It's like all those people that clung to the 4th being the Akatsuki Leader for years. Why can't it just be a new character? And it was.

The Tobi = Obito thing was a decent theory back when Tobi acted like an idiot and seemed to be a side character. If he's really Madara though, it's fairly unlikely.

Yeah, the whole Sasuke/Itachi conclusion just seemed a bit anti-climatic. It really was a let down.

I don't know about anyone else but they dragged out the Sasuke/Itachi fight so long I don't even know what the hell is going on with the Leaf storyline.

There is no conclusion yet for the Itachi/Sasuke fight. All we know now is Itachi was hurt very badly before he fought sasuke,and both are passed out on a rock that mirrors the first sasuke versus itachi cover.

Now its almost 95% certain that itachi is dead,but who fought him before sasuke and hurt him that badly? Also,what did itachi mumble to sasuke before he passed out. There still alot left open here,the uchia storyline is far from over.

I still stand with what I say. After the shot of Sasuke looking at his brother's fingers (the ones that poked him on the forehead) and the evil grin afterwards, I don't expect Itachi to have his eyes in the next few chapters.

Anyone notice how Sasuke's eye started bleeding? I don't think there was that much blood that Itachi could have transfered to his forehead with a simple poke.

I think Sasuke gained yet another form of mangekyou.
