Unrelated to the topic at hand, but I was messing around online and found this image of the tailed beasts and their jinchuuriki, might be old to you guys but I hadn't seen it before. Thought I'd post it in case anyone else hadn't.

I'm kinda bummed that he just glossed over so many of those fights. Even if they were just small one or two chapter deals it would've been cool to see them in action. Apparently there's an artbook out where he talks a little about the design for the characters and their powers, it sounds like he intended to use them for more than he did in the end.

Yeah, Danzou is Danzou. He stole the eye from someone I'm sure. Maybe one of Sasuke's not quite 100% dead yet parents or something.

I always thought the eyes were merged when you did the brother switch. The demon apparition that appeared when that was described had 4 total sockets, so to me it implied that you needed 4 total eyes. I guess its some jutsu-mumbo-jumbo that fuses them together. This is also backed by the way Madara's mangekyou became a combination of both pupil styles.

Ugh everyone and their mothers have a sharingan now. This is turning into a sharingan orgy, and there's almost no focus on its jutsu copying ability; it's all about eye lazerrrsss like amaterasu or whatever.

You know...Danzo constantly keeps that eye covered, just like Kakashi. Leads me to believe it's an implant.

Yeah seeing how he mentioned Orochimaru, it would seem likely that Orochimaru implanted an old Uchihas eyes into Danzo as some weird ass experiement. I wouldn't be surprised if Danzo has a cursed seal all over the bandaged part of his body.

Pretty cool picture. Would love to have seen more of it/them as well. Another thing is it seems to me "most" of the Jinchuurikis seem far more accepted and established than Naruto ever was. I mean, half of the background story with Naruto is this misunderstood child who felt alone and never had any friends - the village hated him etc. The way I read the other chapters it didn't appear that way for the other Jinchuurikis. Maybe a bit with Gaara, but they rather feared him instead, atleast during his preteens. Funny that he actually holds the "weakest" Bijuu. (Correct me if I misunderstood the terms. Bijuu is the actual tailed beast, and a Jinchuuriki is the "container", the person.)

I guess it's just where the nine-tails attacked Konoha and killed so many people years ago. It's a sore spot for the village. With the others there was no disaster involving the beasts, they just used them for their own ends.

Well... we can't really know how any of them were treated because we didn't see any of them. Gaara was feared, Naruto was hated. Killer-bee probably had a rough childhood but an easier life when his bro became hokage. I'm sure it wasn't easy on any of them. Even if they weren't hated or feared by their village, doesn't mean they didn't have to struggle with the monster inside of them.
