+1 Internets | Banewreaker I started this book a few days ago, and wondered if anybody had read it. It has an interesting point of view for the story. It basically tells the story from the "Bad Guys" point of view. So you learn their story, and don't really think of them as bad. I haven't got to far into it yet, so I can't comment to much on it. However I was curious if anybody had read it and had any opinions. |

| I've read both books and thought they were ok. Best thing about these is the sort of reversed angle you get, reading the bad guys point of view. Makes you think a bit about other stories and how "bad guys" acted there and why. The story itself seemed heavily based on Tolkien's world(Silmarillion mostly.) Gods sent out to create a world, one does bad stuff and is banished(ok Sartoris doesn't actually do anything bad, but it's almost the same as the Silmarillion.) They were enjoyable enough but nowhere near Tolkien, Martin or any of the other well known fantasy authors IMO. |
