Recommended reading from a Christian

Current list of recommended books from myself.

• Bible - New King James Version - [The New King James Version]
• Bible - New International Version - [New International Version]
  

These are both highly readable versions but I like the way the New King James Version flows off the tongue. A lot of people find the New International easiest as a starter to get verbage down and then move on when they start learning about context and how important the actual literal translations are.

My favorite part of these books is in the part called Malachi chapter 2...

"Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces." -God

A+ would read again!

I also highly recommend the Left Behind books, they provide good insight into what will become of the non-believers during the Rapture to come.

They are also fictitious adaptations on a confusing book of the Bible due to literal translations of something a man of his time cannot comprehend.

Take for instance his description of scorpions that bring death are very similar to what a person of his time would describe a helicopter maybe using nuclear capabilities or at least chemical causing the people to die in agony etc..

Take these books at face value I see too many Christians and people just looking into Christianity that take them as pure and holy gospel from on high.

I am a Chrisitan. I find Atheism to be just another religion but of all of them it is the most biased and unforgiving. Remember not believing in something is actually a belief in and of itself just like cold and hot are varying degrees of temperature and are in the eye of the beholder.
