| Recommended reading from a Christian Current list of recommended books from myself.
These are both highly readable versions but I like the way the New King James Version flows off the tongue. A lot of people find the New International easiest as a starter to get verbage down and then move on when they start learning about context and how important the actual literal translations are. |

Take for instance his description of scorpions that bring death are very similar to what a person of his time would describe a helicopter maybe using nuclear capabilities or at least chemical causing the people to die in agony etc.. Take these books at face value I see too many Christians and people just looking into Christianity that take them as pure and holy gospel from on high.

You picked up on the deeply hidden sarcasm I masked so beautifully. I am a Chrisitan. I find Atheism to be just another religion but of all of them it is the most biased and unforgiving. Remember not believing in something is actually a belief in and of itself just like cold and hot are varying degrees of temperature and are in the eye of the beholder. Debate here your anti-Christian books and how you think this international bestseller is stupid despite the millions of people that rely on it daily I am here to offer my condolences to your close mindedness and attempt to explain anything I can and offer apologies for those things I cannot.

| One of my Philisophy teachers once said something that I will never forget. "Being an Aetheist is okay.. for about six months max. If you are still an aethiest for over 6 months, you just aren't doing that much thinking." |

| Now to prove you're not an intolerant asshole, do it for the other major religions.
