death·ly ADJECTIVE: 1. Of, resembling, or characteristic of death: a deathly silence. 2. Causing death; fatal. hallow (plural hallows) 1. (archaic) a holy person, a saint So uh...that could mean any number of damned things now couldn't it? I'd always thought of a "Hallow" as a ghostly type of spirit thing, probably cause of halloween, so my first thought was maybe Harry does something that involves the Veil from the dept. of mysteries. Of course if the wikitionary definition of a holy person/saint is the only usable noun form of Hallow...then we've got a different story. And a lot more theories. I'm at a loss honstly, I'm sure there will be some decent theories out there soon enough though.

| I've never understood the hype about HP titles, its not like they explain this big long arch or give you insight before you read the novel. This is just a way of saying "dangerous ghosts". Sirius will play a part i'm guessing.

Who do you think will die in this book? I think Voldemort will die. I also think one of the "three" will go down being a martyr: ron, hermonie or harry (most likely imo). I like the dark edge to the harry potter books--I'm impressed that Rowling isn't afraid to kill off a main / popular character to make the story compelling.

Her website had a little game to play where you could find a secret door or whatever and it opened to another game (hangman) where you could find the title. It was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Hope it both redeems book 6 and Voldemort doesn't get defeated by some inane metaphor for love involving carebears. I mean the books haven't really been hyping Harry up as much of a badass IMO... Snape pwned him without trying at the end, and Voldemort is suppose to be at least equal or near Dumbledore in power so I don't see how Rowling is going to make a epic-climax of a battle between them so I'm guessing he dies in some other more obscure way.

Unfortunately Voldemort prolly will die in some obscure way, and Harry will be a wuss til the end. Remember the rest of the horcruxes need to be destroyed too so I wonder how much of the story that will take up.
