Dragon Prince series

The Dragon Prince series contains two trilogies, Dragon Prince and Dragon Star, written by fantasy author Melanie Rawn. I read them a long time ago when I was much younger and remember them as being a lot of fun to read. Fast forward about 10ish years and I find myself inbetween good series and was wondering if I would be impressed with them now that i am in my early 30's. Should I pick them up to reread them or am I going to simply get frustrated?

Thoughts? And thanks.

i read them about 10 years ago, (when i was ~30)

just pick one up and start reading, the one thing i dislike about rawn is the multitude of characters she has.

See I really like that in most books. One of the things I liked about the first 2 Exiles books. I blame GRRM for that. As long as most of the characters are worth following around, I prefer a lot of PoV's. Unless there's one or two characters that are just that much more interesting/entertaining than the rest(WRU Mat/Rand??) or it's based around just such a kickass main character that their point of view is always the best option(Vlad Taltos).

But then, I guess you weren't specifically complaining about too many PoV's, just characters. So I'm mostly just typing to hear myself "talk". I find I do that a lot...

Pick one up and start reading it.

Rawn has started, but not finished, another trilogy (not related to Dragon Prince series in anyway) called "Exiles:" and has recently released a standalone novel titled Spellbinder that you might want to look at instead.

Yeah I read them about a decade ago and just remember a billion character names and nothing else special about them.
