| Maddox book so, who have read it? is good? funny? complete crap? its hard to find valid opinions about maddox (his fans put Vanboys and WoWboys asslicking skill to shame, and the haters dont go beyond "he's an idiot" 1-line)

| Some parts were good for a laugh, but most of it just seemed mediocre for me. To put that in perspective I've read all 5-6 years of content on the Maddox website and I would probably rate most of the website arcticles above those in the book. The first chapter is "A is for Asskicking", so you can probably imagine what most of the book will sound like if you've read anything off his site. I would probably still pick it up again if I was given the choice. It's a good read for work or on the jon, but I don't think it's as amazing as some people make it out to be.

| I skimmed through it in a bookstore. It was funny. Sometimes LOL funny. If you like his internet writings, you can't go wrong with the book. It's (funny) internet humor on paper. |

+1 Internets | Looked at it in the bookstore, also. It's quality material, for sure, but I don't think I will ever buy a "comedy book" no matter who the author is. I doubt i'd ever pick it up after the first reading. If you can justify the $10(?) for it, then by all means grab it for an hour or two of entertainment. |

+6 Internets | i bought it and read most of it, but i skimmed some of the less interesting/funny stuff. It was worth 10 bucks. If for nothing else, for the Chuck Norris section, that was pretty funny, and the pirates section. I wouldn't expect to find new life direction from it, but it isn't too bad. |

+29 Internets | Probably the best 20 bucks I've spent on a book would be one of The Onion compilations. Not only are they chock full with great humor, they're also an excellent intelligence rating device. Just leave it on your coffee table when people are coming over. The ones who pick it up and laugh have half a brain, the ones who pick it up and ask "what is this?" are most likely vegetables. |

| I picked it up, enjoyed it..could've read the entire thing in a sitting at Barnes and Nobles but decided to pay for it to try and support him a little at least. Had a great couple of laughs and was a decent read over-all. 8/10 for what it is ![]() |
