Huh? Where did I rag on the universe? I just disliked most of the infinite earths shit. It was poorly done. Doesn't mean all alternate stuff has to be. Kingdom Come was excellent etc etc. I never said 1 word about Marvel vs. DC or any of that fanboy bullshit. Just said comparing Ultimate whatever to Infinite Earths is not a good comparison at all.

Looks like The Boys is getting the boot from DC/Wildstorm. Pretty dumb from the good word of mouth on it.

Yea, and it wasn't for lack of sales either. Hell, I had to get over to the local shop on the first day or two the new issues came out to get one before they sold out, and this store doesn't exactly do a massive business. Plus it was about the only Wildstorm book that actually shipped on a schedule. Fuck 'em, I won't be buying any Wildstorm trades that's for sure.

Obviously someone at DC didn't like Ennis pissing all over the world of superhero comics.

Ennis' response is good news though, especially the part about Darick getting permission to work on the book at another publisher despite his exclusive contract with DC.
