Christ that was quick.

Ah how often do we want to be doing this? I thought 1 a month would give everyone enough time to purchase and read it, but if we're all avid readers maybe we should do 2 a month?

Let's see how many people get through it by the end of the week. I'll make a discussion thread if you want to start talking about it though. I originally thought we'd discuss it by chapters but maybe finishing the book and discussing it in it's entirety would be better? thoughts?

I just finished this weekend. It was a pretty easy read so I would start discussion on the whole book rather than just specific chapters.

Calling the BrainPal(TM) Asshole made me lol irl. I also want to kill 1" tall aliens like Godzilla rampaging through Tokyo.

I've been done for a while now... since the day after I posted the library had it, actually. >.<

I'm not a fast reader, if anything I read pretty slow, but this book flowed really easy. It's not hard to digest, which I think is a credit to the author.

Then again, I feel the same way about Clarke and Asimov too. They're not trying to "wow" you with prose, it's the idea that's important.

Well someone can just start the discussion when they're done, nobody has to go into it until they're dead, advantage text has on sound Two a month seems good, some won't keep pace but it'll give lots of variety.

Got it and starting today. I'm also a really fast reader but I'd like to keep to one a month. We go to two a month and its going to start digging into the other books I want to read.

I hope you guys do go with two a month I am in for sure on the next one.

PS anyone else geeky enough to be in on the Potter Dead pool?

The Willy Wheelie passage is one of the funniest things I have ever read. Scalzi's fucking awesome.
