Arya killed one of them (Raff or Polliver or The Tickler, one of those pricks from Harrenhall) in the inn with the Hound, if I recall correctly, towards the end of A Storm of Swords. Many of them met their fates at other people's hands, however.

Her list is actually getting pretty short by the end of AfFC.

You mean... Eddard/Ned?

EDIT: Upon review, I remember something about Cersei along the lines that she will be killed by the younger brother.

Obviously, it could be Tyrion, but I'd like to say it's Jaime since he is *technically* younger and that'd be a fine 'fuck you' that that stupid fucking bitch. That means my theory about Arya killing Cersei is wrong. She may end up having something to do with the Samwell / Maester storyline going on right now.
I think Cersei will be OK till Daenerys gets there. Cersei thinks the person who will kill all her children and take her kingdom is Margery, but from the description given by the old fortune teller it seems to clearly be Daenerys. And Tyrion is going to hook up with Daenerys as we speak so... hard to tell.

Keep in mind that GRRM likes to play with reader's prejudices and assumptions and rejects the notion of absolutes, good OR evil. I'm betting we'll see a lot of late exposition about who the Others are, probably having to do Coldhands' relationship with them, and that Bran's innate changeling talents have some bearing on the future of the Starks.

I'm hoping Bran's mystical training in the north along with Howland Reed's strange children will end up with a new definition to the Stark warcry of 'Winter IS coming". A true King of the North wouldn't be fighting against the forces of winter after all...

I have to go back and reread the series, but I seem to recall Robb and his mother fighting over Robb's choice of heir. Didn't he declare that Jon was resolved of his bastardness (bastardhood?) and was the new heir to the North? I remember them having a fight about it, and then I don't ever remember reading anything about it after that.

I know Stannis offered Jon the North, but no word from Robb.

Kinda hard to elaborate on your thoughts when your head was cut off and your Dire wolfs head put in it's place.

I am a bit fuzzy but i believe he was going to make an announcement about it but got interupted

I'm about the same on that one. Cersei was obsessed with some prophecy about a new young and more beautiful female knocking her off her throne, which Cersei believes to be Margery, and by the story it does sound likely - but it's come to the part where it's too likely and hence Margery probably won't be that particular one. Daenerys is then another good guess, but who knows.

And to Jubee - I only recall Robb having a conversation with Catelyn regarding who Ned's heir was, in case Robb should die and he was the only male left (Bran and the younger one gone and all), whereas Robb insists that Catelyn's statement isn't quite true, because Jon is still alive and Catelyn doesn't like to her that. I always liked reading about Robb's genuine acceptance of Jon and the other way around, nothing gayish here, but just that Robb is down on his ground, isn't threatened by Jon's presence who never wanted any power anyway and is totally cool with Robb being the heir. The way they fight equally in a swords fight and so on, how they both just consider each other like twin brothers or some and feels tied together is just awesome.

See I thought he sent out a raven to the Wall. I guess he must have just talked about it. I read all 4 books in a straight shot and have missed a lot of the little details that other people have talked about for years/months now.

Speaking of Jon though, his chapters > Arya's. I held myself back from reading any threads about the books until I finished all of them. I dove in expecting to hear about how badass Jon/Tyrion were, and Arya seems to be the favorite on almost every forum I visit that have a thread on the series. Meh.

P.S.: I was on my way to a Karazhan run in WoW the other day and I took a different route through Duskwood. I rode through an Alliance city and they had a ton of NPCs tagged as being from "The Night Watch" which sent me into a murderous rampage. Here I am stuck in an instance for 4 hours and suddenly Blizzard reminds me that aSoI&F > WoW.

Which is why I mentioned Bran.

I find it interesting though that Ayra seems to have changeling abilities, too. Remember the chapters when she connects to her assumed-dead wolf? Some kind of fucking faceless man - BITCH I'M A WOLF!

You think her Wolf is dead? I think it is pretty clear her wolf, which she made run away, is alive and well. Hence the rumors of huge (100+) wolf packs suddenly roaming the Riverlands. Put a Direwolf in an area with a bunch of regular wolves and she'll be the leader of every single pack for miles.

I'm probably remembering this wrong, but didn't Robb send the letter with his choice of heir and such with Maege Mormont to Howland Reed?

and yep, Nymeria is still out there kicking ass with her wolf-pack in the Riverlands...gets alluded to a few times throughout the books.

Yeah that's what I recall. I think the Lannisters set up someone else to be king though.

I said assumed-dead. Arya still thinks Nymeria is dead. Also, I mentioned Arya shape-changing into her wolf (she thinks they are just dreams, and not green-dreams). I even think at some point Arya sees herself (human) from her wolf.

There has been awful reading comprehension in this thread. Sad, considering the context.
