+1 Internets | Iain Levison : contemporary US writer I have read two books from this guy : Since the layoffs and Working stiff's manifesto. Both were insanely funny, quite short ( which can be seen as a good or a bad thing i guess, I wouldnt have minded longer books ) with this dead cold humor. To sum him up without spoiling the books, i would say he writes about the relation an average person has with his average job, and of course in what measures it will impact his life, his self esteem, ... All this in the US today. I do not know what his other ( second ) book is about, but I definately intend to try it out. Please do not let me discourage you of reading him with my crappy review, this guy really deserves the short time you will spend reading his work. imo ofc. |
