Just so people know.. the reason that those two people were arrested was that they created an incentive program that gave bonuses to people that registered 20 or more people.

Throughout 2008, ACORN employed canvassers to register people to vote in Nevada, the complaint said. ACORN paid the canvassers between $8 and $9 an hour, but made continued employment and continued compensation based on the canvasser registering 20 voters per shift. Those who failed to sign up 20 voters per shift were terminated, the complaint said.

From July 27 through Oct. 2 ACORN also provided additional compensation under a bonus program called "Blackjack" or "21+" that was based on the total number of voters a person registered.

In high school I had the same quotas for pawning lines of credit on customers at Target, and my grad school room mate had similar requirements for new accounts at E-Trade.

Apparently it's perfectly fine to set quotas to push credit onto 19 year olds, but it's not okay to have an incentive program for voter registration.

when there is a systematic problem in a necessary organization they restructure and straighten shit out. when you have a systematic problem in a needless organization and its president sees nothing wrong with its actions and begins legal action against those that report its wrongdoings. then you have an organization that needs to go down the tubes.

well ACORN has been commiting more than a hint of crimes for many years now and its finally catching up to them. my "hissy fit" has been going on for over 4 years on these assnuggets so im not just getting riled up over it now because fox news is reporting it. especially since i havent had the fox news signal on my directtv foir over 3 months. i caught all of ACORNS little stunts on CNN. btw if a crime is being committed then you go after everyone involved but dont whitewash the whole thing becuase you think if someone else does it then its ok for others to fuck with the law as well. what you want is anarchy and thats not what im about. so direct your babble at someone else sir.
