But if it makes you feel good to think that the President is shirking his duties by trying to drum up jobs and money for this country, then I won't make any comments about clearing brush in Texas while Iraq snowballed towards a civil war. I wouldn't want to bring you down.

Are you living under a rock? Afghanistan has been a pretty major news item the past couple months, along with that whole near civil war thing going on in Pakistan's Swat valley. Just because you're not paying attention doesn't mean they're not getting attention.

Funny how the article title claims Obama is furious but the actual wording of the article never once even implies he's angered (it does say some of his advisers were according to unnamed sources close to the administration).
